The education section of Vigo IKS manages the county councils' ICT systems for upper secondary education (vgo).
This includes application and admission to upper secondary education, administration of the apprenticeship scheme, administration system for pupil administration, conducting exams and an information website for those choosing education within VET.
In addition, quality assurance of student and apprentice data and responsibility for the national coding database.
We are responsible for the development and operation of ICT tools for reporting and quality follow-up for the counties, as well as various quality projects around the ICT systems we are responsible for.
