VIGO School can be used for several things, depending on where you work and what you do. Access to the service is controlled by the administration in the county council and system managers in the schools, and depends on business needs.

If you work in administration in a county council, you can use VIGO School to, among other things:

• Register users at primary and secondary schools in your county.
• Add texts with information on vigo.no that will be visible to applicants when they apply for upper secondary education and when they respond to offers.

If you work at a secondary school, you can use VIGO School to, among other things:

• Securely upload student and grade data to VIGO.
• Get an overview of the school's graduating students, whether they have applied and have received an offer.
• See application statistics for the school's graduating students.
• See the offer structure at the county's upper secondary schools.

If you work at an upper secondary school, you can use VIGO School to, among other things:

• Get an overview of the school's graduating students, whether they have applied and have received an offer.
• Get an overview of students who have been admitted and are on the waiting list for your upper secondary school.
• See the offer structure at the county's upper secondary schools.

If you work with vocational training in schools, you can use VIGO School to, among other things:

• Get an overview of candidates who have an approved contract for vocational training in school.

If you work with apprenticeships at your upper secondary school, you can use VIGO School to, among other things:

• See the business networks that your high school collaborates with.
• See statistics on students placed in vocational specialization.
